Key Responsibilities

You are the second senior hire on the U.S. Compliance team. You work directly with the Chief Compliance Officer, Chief Risk Officer, and Chief Operating Officer to build a BSA/AML program that moves as fast as our API.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in BSA/AML compliance, specifically at a fintech, neobank, or sponsor bank.

  • Deep expertise in US regulatory frameworks, including the Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT Act, and OFAC requirements.

  • Direct experience managing and scaling filing alert and investigation workflows, KYC/CIP programs, and high-risk customer due diligence.

  • Proven track record of managing regulatory examinations (OCC, FDIC, or Fed) and independent AML audits.

  • Proficiency with modern compliance tooling and data analysis.

Compensation packages at Augustus include base salary, equity, and benefits. New hire offers are made based on a candidate's experience, expertise and geographic location. The annual US base salary range for this role is $180,000-$250,000 + equity.
