You want to be the primary architect of a compliance engine that will scale globally as we expand.
You prioritize the comfort of other teams or hiring more people instead of trusting your own ability.
You prefer to wait for external counsel's approval before forming an internal opinion on complex fintech regulations.
You struggle to distill 50-page regulatory updates into short, actionable bullet points for a product manager.
You feel uneasy moving fast and making high-stakes decisions with 80% of the information instead of waiting for 100%.
You prefer managing vendors, junior employees, and high-level strategy over hands-on execution.
Requirements
~1 min read5+ years of regulatory compliance experience, specifically involved with US banks or mature fintech.
Deep, working knowledge of Reg E, Reg Z, the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), and GLBA.
Direct experience developing, drafting, and operating compliance policies, assurance testing, and risk assessments.
Based in New York City or the Dallas area, or willing to relocate.
Compensation packages at Augustus include base salary, equity, and benefits. New hire offers are made based on a candidate's experience, expertise and geographic location. The annual US base salary range for this role is $150,000-$200,000 + equity.
