We’re looking for General Assembly-Intermediate Level candidates to join our team at our Gas Power Manufacturing plant in Greenville, SC located on Forrester Drive, Greenville SC. Responsibilities

  • →Assemble, install, align, adjust, and fit subassemblies and parts using appropriate tools and fixtures per work instructions
  • →Clean parts using acetone, braze assemble components per work instructions
  • →Perform preset calibration and final testing on sub-assemblies or complete units
  • →Clean parts and maintain tooling and equipment per work instructions
  • →Perform precision measurements using tools such as micrometers, calipers, and CMMs.
  • →Collaborate in a team environment focused on lean manufacturing, safety, and productivity.
  • →Take ownership of compliance, safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • →Utilize computer programs to enter part data (e.g., serial number), log time, look up instructions
  • →Utilize work instructions, set-up sheets and method documents to correctly set up machines and inspect machined parts.
  • →Ability to work overtime, with or without reasonable accommodation 
  • →Ability to work occasional weekend shifts, with or without reasonable accommodation 

  • Education/Experience: High School diploma or equivalent required. 2-5 years of related work experience.
  • Technical Proficiency: Ability to read blueprints, perform shop math, and use precision measurement equipment.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work 2nd shift (2 PM – 10:30 PM, M-F) and overtime when needed.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and wear PPE (safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, etc.). with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Must pass a background check and drug screen.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available).
