Senior Advisor – Asset Management (Advisory)

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a Senior Advisor in the areas of Reliability Engineering and Asset Management to join our Business Advisory Asset Management team in Perth.

You will principally provide reliability engineering, asset management and operational readiness consulting services to asset intensive organisations - Mining, Heavy Industry, Energy and Water sectors.

With a strong focus on team, we are looking for leadership qualities and a mentoring mindset to set the GHD Business Advisory Asset Management team up for future success.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

• Asset management projects in the mining, manufacturing and resources industries 
• Developing data and system solutions to improve the operational management and strategy of physical infrastructure in asset intensive organisations.
• Developing relationships and building business through positive and lasting relationships externally and internally
• Delivering an outstanding level of client service and delivery.
• Developing asset and maintenance management strategies, reliability engineering expertise, expert data analysis and business and operational processes and system reviews
• Working collaboratively and effectively with team members to plan project resources and pursuits and deliver best in class solutions for our clients.

What you will bring to the team:

• Degree qualification in Engineering, Finance, Commercial, Data science or a related discipline.
• Mining, manufacturing or resources industry experience in a recognised consulting asset management, maintenance, operations environment.
• Experience in the application of Reliability Engineering and Maintenance strategies.

• Strong data manipulation and analytical skills are highly regarded.

• An understanding of Operational Readiness, Care and Maintenance and Decarbonisation is also highly regarded.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills backed by strategic problem-solving capabilities.
• Commercially astute and demonstrable experience in delivering outstanding client experiences coupled with both technical and commercial performance on projects.
• Proactive, professional, collaborative and personable approach.
• Effective and proven business development, networking and client relationship management skills.
• A good understanding and application of ISO 55000 Series and relevant industry guidance (IAM, GFMAM, IIMM)
