Finance Associate

GHJ Search and Staffing serves as the recruitment division of GHJ, a prominent national accounting and advisory firm. Our team provides qualified Accounting and Finance professionals on a temporary and permanent basis across a broad range of industries. GHJ’s relationship with our Global Advisory and Accounting Network provides the resources needed to better understand client’s needs, attract a higher caliber of candidates and assess candidate potential.

Process A/P, journal entries, invoices, and bank reconciliations within the ERP system

Manage vendor records, expense tracking, and corporate card reconciliations

Support payroll processing for talent and internal staff

Assist with budgeting and monthly reporting for development projects

Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and reports

Track and manage participation reporting and revenue receipts

Coordinate with external vendors and partners on payments and deal terms

Review and track legal agreements, including contracts related to project development

Support business affairs with contract tracking and payment schedules

Assist with general administrative and office coordination tasks

3–5 years of accounting or finance experience (entertainment or production environment preferred)

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Strong understanding of GAAP

Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Sage Intacct) and Excel

Familiarity with production accounting tools is a plus

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Interest in the entertainment industry and ability to manage multiple priorities
