Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Transaction Manager to support the execution and lifecycle management of corporate bond transactions across global markets. This role sits within the transaction management / DCM support function and involves coordinating deal closings, managing documentation workflows, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking to build technical expertise in capital markets transactions, debt documentation, and deal execution.


Key Responsibilities


Transaction Execution & Closing

  • Support the end-to-end execution of high-yield bond issuances, private placements, and liability management exercises
  • Coordinate transaction timelines, ensuring all conditions precedent and closing deliverables are met
  • Track and manage closing checklists and documentation flows


Documentation & Review

  • Review transaction documents including indentures, note purchase agreements, agency agreements, and officer certificates
  • Assist in ensuring documentation aligns with agreed commercial terms and operational requirements
  • Coordinate execution of documents and ensure proper record-keeping and filing


Stakeholder Coordination

  • Act as a central point of contact between issuers, underwriters, law firms, trustees/agents, and internal teams
  • Support communications to ensure all parties are aligned on transaction progress and deadlines
  • Coordinate with internal legal, compliance, and operations teams


Post-Closing & Lifecycle Management

  • Assist with bond settlement processes and post-closing deliverables
  • Support ongoing transaction administration, including amendments, consents, and corporate actions
  • Maintain transaction databases and reporting tools


Risk & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and operational procedures
  • Escalate issues or risks identified during transaction execution
  • Coordinate and manage KYC/AML onboarding for new transactions


Qualifications & Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Law, or related field
  • 0–3 years of experience in capital markets, investment banking, legal services, trustee/agency services, or financial institutions
  • Strong interest in debt capital markets (DCM) and corporate bond transactions



Skills & Competencies


  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple transactions under tight deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic understanding of fixed income products, bond structures, and transaction documentation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency in Power BI
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
