Purchasing Coordinator

We’re looking for a Purchasing Coordinator to join our Accounting Team and that will be responsible for supporting day-to-day purchasing activities, including processing purchase requests, maintaining accurate records, communicating with vendors and internal departments, and assisting with follow-up on purchasing-related matters. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a professional and timely manner.

• →Process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, vendor requests, and related purchasing documentation.
• →Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve inquiries and follow up on outstanding items.
• →Maintain accurate purchasing records, tracking logs, and ensure documentation is complete, approved, and compliant.
• →Support invoice, vendor, and purchasing inquiries while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• →Own Canadian Fixed Asset administration, provide backup support for US Fixed Assets, and contribute to process improvements.

• High school diploma (or equivalent); coursework or experience in business is an asset.
• Experience in purchasing, accounts payable, accounting support, administrative support, or a similar office environment.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including data entry, spreadsheet maintenance, and tracking/reporting.
• Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Professional, collaborative, and dependable, with the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.

Bonus points if you also have:

• Experience managing purchase orders, invoices, vendor documentation, and purchasing processes.
• Familiarity with purchasing, accounting, and workflow systems, with NetSuite experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and follow established procedures.
