Responsibilities

The Release Management Associate supports the coordination, execution, governance, and reporting of technology releases across business and operational initiatives. This role assists with release administration, deployment readiness activities, documentation, stakeholder communications, and operational reporting to help ensure successful and compliant implementations.

Designed for early-career professionals and recent graduates, this position provides exposure to Release Management, Change Management, operational governance, process improvement, and automation initiatives. The role supports a release environment with approximately 100 annual releases and 100 production changes, contributing to operational stability, continuous improvement, and efficient delivery of technology services.

 

 

As Enterprise Solutions Assoc Analyst your functions would consist of:

  • Support the planning, scheduling, and coordination of technology releases across multiple business initiatives.
  • Assist with release readiness reviews, implementation planning, deployment schedules, and stakeholder communications.
  • Maintain release calendars, implementation trackers, action logs, and governance documentation.
  • Coordinate follow-ups with project teams, technical teams, and business stakeholders to ensure release activities remain on track.
  • Support implementation windows and production deployment activities as required.
  • Maintain accurate release documentation, approvals, implementation evidence, and audit records.
  • Ensure release activities comply with established governance procedures and organizational standards.
  • Assist in preparing governance reviews, deployment summaries, and compliance reporting.
  • Support issue tracking and escalation activities during release execution.
  • Support day-to-day activities associated with approximately 100 annual releases and 100 production changes.
  • Assist with maintaining release metrics, operational dashboards, and leadership reporting.
  • Monitor release milestones, deployment status, and key operational indicators.
  • Prepare recurring reports and presentations for leadership reviews and governance meetings.
  • Help maintain visibility of release performance, execution status, and operational trends.
  • Support process improvement initiatives focused on reducing manual effort and improving operational efficiency.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining basic automation solutions using technologies such as Python, Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint, Excel, and other Microsoft tools.
  • Support data collection, transformation, reporting, and dashboard maintenance activities.
  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive administrative and reporting tasks.
  • Participate in automation and digital transformation initiatives that improve team productivity and service quality.
  • Contribute ideas to improve release management processes, templates, reporting, and operational practices.
  • Participate in training activities and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Develop foundational knowledge in Release Management, Change Management, IT Service Management, and enterprise technology operations.
  • Support special projects and operational initiatives as assigned.

Requirements

  • 0-2 years of professional experience, internship experience, or equivalent academic project experience.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Interest in technology operations, process improvement, automation, and analytics.
  • Ability to learn new tools, technologies, and processes quickly.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Basic knowledge of Python or other scripting/programming languages.
  • Exposure to Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint, SQL, or other reporting and automation tools.
  • Experience creating reports, dashboards, automations, or workflow solutions through academic, internship, or personal projects.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Scrum, or project coordination concepts.
  • Exposure to IT Service Management or ticketing platforms such as ServiceNow.
  • Interest in process optimization, analytics, and operational excellence.

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
