The IBP Demand Planner is responsible for developing and maintaining a high-quality, transparent and actionable demand signal within the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) framework, with primary ownership of the 1–4 months short-term planning horizon within iSO&E.
The role collaborates closely with Commercial, Marketing, Finance and Supply Planning teams to translate business insights, customer plans and market dynamics into accurate demand forecasts, while partnering with the Mid-Term Demand Planner (5–24 months) and Demand Planning Manager to ensure agreed mid-term plans and building blocks are effectively translated into short-term execution.
Through active participation in Demand Control and iSO&E processes, the role supports fact-based decision making, service performance and sustainable business growth, while ensuring execution learnings are reflected back into future demand plans.
As part of the East Europe IBP network, the role contributes to forecasting excellence, capability building and continuous improvement of Demand Planning processes and Blue Yonder utilization across markets.
Responsibilities

- →Own and maintain a high-quality Demand Plan across assigned markets, channels and categories, with primary ownership of the 1–4-month short-term planning horizon, ensuring a reliable and actionable demand signal.
- →Partner closely with the Mid-Term Demand Planner (5–24 months) and Demand Planning Manager to ensure seamless transition between iS&OP and iSO&E horizons, with short-term execution insights and learnings systematically feeding back into future demand plans.
- →Lead Demand Control discussions, identifying risks, opportunities, forecasting gaps and required actions while ensuring alignment across Commercial, Finance and Supply Planning teams, and clear ownership and closure of agreed actions.
- →Translate agreed mid-term plans, commercial plans, promotional activities, innovation initiatives and market trends into an accurate short-term demand forecast using agreed planning assumptions and building blocks, in close collaboration with the Mid-Term Demand Planner, Building Block owners and DP Manager.
- → Manage demand forecasts within Blue Yonder, ensuring forecast integrity, data quality and effective use of statistical forecasting methodologies, exception management and forecast analytics to continuously improve the demand signal.
- →Monitor forecast performance through forecast accuracy and bias, decomposing plan versus actual performance across key demand building blocks and conducting root cause analysis to understand what drove deviations, translating learnings into continuous forecast improvement actions.
- →Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply Planning to challenge assumptions, incorporate demand drivers and improve forecast quality, while tracking whether planned activities are being executed as expected and adapting the demand signal where required.
- →Actively supports the iSO&E process, providing visibility of short-term demand risks, opportunities and scenarios, while ensuring alignment between the agreed mid-term iS&OP plan and short-term execution.
- →Actively participate in the East Europe IBP Network, sharing best practices and supporting Demand Planning and Blue Yonder capability improvements.
- →Support new product launches, seasonal events and other business initiatives requiring demand planning expertise, ensuring planned demand assumptions are translated into the forecast, monitored through execution and learnings captured for future planning.
Requirements
~1 min readQualifications & Experience
- University degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain Planning, Commercial Planning or a similar analytical role.
- Strong understanding of Demand Planning within an Integrated Business Planning (IBP) environment, including the connection between mid-term planning/iS&OP and short-term execution/iSO&E.
- Experience participating in cross-functional planning processes and execution involving Commercial, Marketing, Finance and Supply Planning teams.
- Advanced understanding of forecasting concepts, including baseline forecasting, forecast accuracy, bias, seasonality and demand drivers and plan-versus-actual/root-cause analysis across demand building blocks.
- Hands-on experience with Blue Yonder (or similar Demand Planning solutions).
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate commercial, financial and supply inputs into actionable demand plans and understand how planned demand drivers translate into actual market execution.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; Power BI knowledge is considered an advantage.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear business insights and recommendations.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and build strong collaborative relationships across functions.
- Ability to operate effectively in a matrix, multi-market environment.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with strong prioritization, analytical curiosity and problem-solving skills.
- Native speaker Greek, Fluent English.
