Indirect Procurement Analyst – MRO

Lead the execution of Indirect Procurement strategies for the Andean Business Unit, partnering with LATAM Category Management teams to translate regional strategies into local business impact.

This role is responsible for delivering productivity targets, ensuring governance compliance, managing strategic supplier relationships, and driving sourcing excellence across Maintenance, MRO, Industrial Services, Facilities, and related categories.

The position acts as a key business partner to local stakeholders, balancing global standards with local market requirements while ensuring an efficient, compliant, and value-driven procurement operation.

Category Strategy & Business Partnership

• Execute MRO sourcing and category strategies, aligning regional priorities with local business needs.
• Partner with key stakeholders and provide market, supplier, and risk insights to support decisions.

Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management

• Lead RFI/RFP/RFQ, negotiations, supplier selection, and contract management, using TCO and should-cost methodologies.
• Drive productivity, savings, supplier performance, and continuous improvement

Procurement Excellence & Governance

• Ensure compliance with Procurement policies, SOX, audit, contractual, and internal control requirements.
• Drive automation, standardization, and process improvements leveraging digital and analytical tools.

Execution & Leadership

• Lead cross-functional initiatives, Procurement KPIs, and daily operational effectiveness.
• Develop a team of 2–3 Procurement professionals, fostering ownership and high performance.

Academic Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Supply Chain, or related fields.
• Desirable: postgraduate studies in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Management, or related disciplines.

Experience

• 4–6 years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Category Management, ideally across MRO, Maintenance, Industrial Services, Facilities, or plant-related categories.
• Experience leading sourcing, supplier negotiations, contract management, and productivity / savings initiatives.
• Desirable: exposure to MAKE / CapEx projects and/or team leadership.

Technical Skills

• Advanced English – fluent conversational level (mandatory).
• Advanced Excel.
• Procurement Systems: SAP and Ariba.
• Data & Analytics: Power BI, Celonis, and data automation tools
