  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in a professional environment with a focus on problem-solving and meeting customer needs.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications.

 

  • Previous experience in a Human Resources or customer service-facing environment.
  • Familiarity with HR policy or areas of expertise (i.e. Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Talent Management, Employee Relations).
  • Previous experience in contact center environments; assisting internal or external customers through phone or chat interactions.
  • Experience utilizing HR systems such as Workday or ServiceNow.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) with the ability to show empathy and provide supportive guidance when addressing employee concerns.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

  • This is a hybrid position in Cedar Rapids, IA or Farmington, CT. Employees who are working in hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Onsite presence of up to 3 days is required and will be determined in partnership with your leader, and may vary based on assignment.

The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services team: 

 

Our goal in People Services is to deliver an exceptional experience to employees and provide comprehensive support through various types of channels including via phone call, chat, or case management. We are seeking a dynamic, collaborative, and versatile professional to join our team. This unique role is designed to provide the incumbent with broad exposure to the inner workings of People Services, offering a well-rounded experience through multiple assignments in advisory, operational efficiency, and complex problem resolution.

 

Responsibilities

  • →Gain hands-on experience by contributing to four core areas of our HR operations; Advisory and Engagement, Complex Case Management, Operational Excellence, and Strategic Collaboration.
  • →HR Advisory & Engagement: Serve as a key resource for employees and managers in a contact center environment by providing high-quality assistance and resolution for various inquiries via calls, chats, and case. You will utilize a diagnostic approach to understand needs and provide clear guidance on company policies and self-service resources.
  • →Complex Case Management: Gain exposure to high-level HR matters by assisting in the resolution of complex employee issues. This includes conducting research, managing sensitive information with professional judgment, and ensuring that intricate inquiries are handled with accuracy and empathy.
  • →Operational Excellence: Support the team in identifying and recommending process enhancements. You will play an active role in projects designed to improve day-to-day operations, enhance the employee experience, and streamline operational and service delivery.
  • →Strategic Collaboration: Work across various teams within U.S. People Services to ensure a seamless and consistent experience for all stakeholders, while sharing insights that help the team identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
