  • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
  • Experience in Program Management, Material Program Management, Procurement, Contracts, Finance, Operations, and/or Strategic Sourcing.
  • Experience developing and executing material or supply chain strategies in support of program objectives.
  • Experience generating sourcing documentation such as RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, or supplier statements of work.
  • Experience with Prime Contract Requirements and Statements of Work (SSOWs).
  • Experience supporting supplier management activities such as supplier reviews or performance oversight.
  • Experience working in a matrixed organization.
  • Experience supporting procurement activities, including purchase requisitions and purchase order management.
  • Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain Top Secret or higher clearance level or program access after start date.

Raytheon is seeking an experienced Material Program Manager to join the Advanced Technology (AT) Team in support of the SLCM program. This role requires the ability to develop and meet program objectives in a matrix environment and to interface effectively with functional and program leadership. The position serves as a key member of the Supply Chain team, coordinating with program and supplier teams. Responsibilities include creating and executing Material Program Strategies and Plans to support program execution from initial development through contract closure. The role supports a product development effort that operates in a dynamic and evolving environment.

 

Responsibilities

  • →Developing and executing Material Program Plans and Supplier Management Plans.
  • →Planning and executing sourcing decisions and support the Make/Buy/Where process.
  • →Identifying Customer Prime Contract Flow-Downs and obtaining any required Terms Attachments (Flow Down Attachment) and/or Modifications (TCMs).
  • →Assisting with the generation of Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs).
  • →Generating Supplier Request for Information/Proposals/Quotes (RFIs/RFPs/RFQs), and obtaining and understanding supplier proposals/quotes.
  • →Generating and processing Supplier New Add / Re-Activation requests.
  • →Driving Purchase Requisition generation & Purchase Order placement/management.
  • →Participating in supplier engagements and reviews to ensure supplier performance.
  • →This role is onsite at one of our Tucson, AZ locations.
