Responsibilities
~1 min read·You will be supporting a Raytheon program in a classified environment as a Network Operations Center (NOC) System Administrator.
·This position is responsible for monitoring the Infrastructure Service Provider (ISP) hosting equipment and services consisting of computers (server), networks, storage, and backup & archive, all in a fast-paced environment.
·Tasks include answering and managing calls in a 24x7 monitoring center, providing prompt and professional responses to incidents and inquiries, monitoring system dashboards for the status of services, creating Incidents in the Incident Management system, assigning Incidents to the appropriate Tier-2/Tier-3 assignment groups, assisting with troubleshooting services to restore full Mission Capability, and/or coordinating with other service Providers when incidents span system boundaries.
·Investigate and rectify procedural discrepancies as well as identifying areas of process improvement.
