Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare comprehensive Title Reports, Runsheet’s, and chain of title documentation for surface properties
  • Identify and assess title issues that may impact project design or construction, such as third-party easements, conservation easements, or mineral reservations
  • Collaborate with project developers, land technicians, and GIS staff to integrate title findings into project planning and resolve title defects as needed
  • Maintain organized, current records of title status using project management systems such as Smartsheet, Microsoft programs, or similar tools

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Title Agent in one or more of the following sectors: Renewable Energy, Department of Transportation, Public Utilities, Oil and Gas, or Real Estate
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience in title curative processes, due diligence, legal descriptions including meets and bounds surveys, and interpreting deed reservation language
  • Comprehensive understanding of heirship statutes, marital and community property laws, and various forms of co-ownership
  • Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders

We offer the opportunity to work on meaningful infrastructure projects that support the nation's energy and development needs. If you are a detail-oriented professional with a strong foundation in title research and a team-minded approach, we would welcome the opportunity to connect with you!
