Global Land Partners, LLC (GLP) is seeking an experienced Title Manager to support its clients across all title-related services. As a premier land services company, GLP offers the opportunity to work on meaningful infrastructure projects that support the nation's energy and development needs. We invite qualified professionals with extensive title and management experience in right-of-way, solar, renewable energy, utilities, or oil and gas to apply.

 

Role Overview             

The Title and Due Diligence Manager will play a critical leadership role in overseeing nationwide title operations and due diligence efforts. This position requires accuracy, strategic attention to detail, and the ability to navigate complex title issues across multiple states. The successful candidate will manage all Title Agents and abstractors, implement standard operating procedures, and oversee due diligence projects for clients involved in energy asset M&A scenarios.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Team & Process Management: Manage and mentor all Title Agents and abstractors hired by GLP. Develop and implement standardized title processes and procedures for all clientele.
  • Due Diligence & M&A Oversight: Oversee due diligence projects and company efforts representing buyers or sellers of energy assets through Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) scenarios.
  • Nationwide Title Operations: Manage surface and mineral title efforts for the company nationwide, ensuring accuracy and compliance across various jurisdictions.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate effectively with third-party team members, including clients, surveyors, and title companies. Collaborate seamlessly with internal GLP Field Land Agents, Land Technicians, GIS staff, and Project Managers to integrate title findings into each project.
  • Quality Control & Review: Review comprehensive Title Reports, Runsheets, and chain of title documentation for surface and mineral properties. Identify and assess title issues that may impact project design or construction, such as third-party easements, conservation easements, or mineral reservations, and resolve title defects as needed.
  • Project Management: Maintain organized, current records of title status using project management systems such as Smartsheet, Microsoft programs, or similar tools, while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

 

Qualifications



  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in title research, due diligence, and team management within one or more of the following sectors: Renewable Energy, Department of Transportation, Public Utilities, Oil and Gas, or Real Estate.
  • Technical Expertise: Experience in title curative processes, due diligence, legal descriptions including metes and bounds surveys, and interpreting deed reservation language. Comprehensive understanding of heirship statutes, marital and community property laws, and various forms of co-ownership.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven track record in project management and overseeing internal and external teams.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Claude AI, and project management platforms (e.g., Smartsheet).
  • Communication: Demonstrated capability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders.
