US Staff Accountant (OAS) 04242026

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant within our Outsourced Accounting Solutions team to join our growing and well-established national firm. This role supports the accounting function through accurate transaction processing, account reconciliations, and financial reporting assistance. The position reports to the Accounting Manager/Controller with guidance from Senior Accountants.

• →Record and reconcile daily cash receipts and accounts receivable
• →Assist with client billable expense processing and allocation
• →Prepare basic journal entries and account reconciliations
• →Support month-end close procedures under supervision
• →Maintain organized documentation for financial transactions
• →Assist with expense report processing and verification
• →Help track prepaid expenses and recurring transactions
• →Support fixed asset record maintenance
• →Prepare basic financial reports and schedules, as assigned
• →Participate in process improvement initiatives
• →Perform other accounting duties as required

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2–3 years of accounting experience
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and procedures
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively in remote settings while meeting deadlines
• Maintains strict confidentiality and demonstrates a willingness to learn new systems and processes
• Amenable to work in a Hybrid set-up
• Willing to work the night shift

• Experience with accounting software systems (e.g., Quickbooks, Netsuite, Sage, Xero)
• Knowledge of accounts payable/receivable processes
• Understanding of basic financial statement preparation
• Experience in a professional services environment
• Exposure to client billing processes
