Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Install automotive shop equipment including lifts, balancers, compressors, alignment systems, diagnostic units, and more.
- →Test, calibrate, and verify that all equipment is operating safely and correctly.
- →Perform routine and preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and complete onsite repairs.
- →Train customers on equipment operation, care, and safety best practices.
- →Build strong relationships with shop owners, technicians, and managers.
- →Maintain accurate documentation, including service notes, parts usage, and equipment records.
- →Manage your tools, vehicle, and service materials with professionalism and care.
- →Provide remote troubleshooting support as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2–3 years of mechanical, electrical, or related technical experience; automotive shop experience strongly preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Proficiency with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- A customer-service mindset and strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while representing EAES with professionalism and integrity.
- Valid, unencumbered driver’s license and insurability.
- Passport required for training and occasional travel to Toronto.
Requirements
~1 min readThis is an active, hands-on role within busy automotive environments. You should be comfortable with:
- Lifting/carrying up to 75 lbs.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and crouching.
- Occasional ladder use to access elevated equipment.
- Working in environments with noise, dust, grease, and varying temperatures.
- Regular driving between customer sites.
EAES is a fast-growing company working with independent auto shops and dealerships to improve their productivity and profitability. Our employees will earn a competitive compensation and benefits package, including base plus commission, vacation and sick leaves, and will be provided with a company vehicle to utilize during work hours. We also offer a retirement plan, basic life and AD&D, disability insurances, and medical, dental, and vision options.
- Base rate of $45k ($1875 per pay, 24 pays per year). This will start immediately on the first day of working and will remain the base pay.
- After you are trained and start installing, you will get 25% for each installation on top of the base rate.
This position is primarily onsite at customer repair shops throughout Ohio and surrounding states, with training travel required (including Toronto).
