Trust and Safety Analyst

At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time, others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.

 GoDaddy’s Trust and Safety team is distributed across the United States and Europe. The team investigates DNS abuse, including phishing, malware, botnets, and domain impersonation. 

The Trust and Safety Analyst will review, investigate, and respond to reports of DNS abuse, including phishing, malware, botnets, and domain impersonation. The role will evaluate evidence, apply GoDaddy’s policies consistently, document decisions, and escalate complex or high-risk cases. We are hiring this position to help build GoDaddy’s India Center of Excellence, strengthen coverage during European business hours, and create a more scalable and resilient global Trust and Safety operation. 

• →Review, investigate, and resolve reports involving phishing, malware, spam, fraud, impersonation, and other forms of online abuse
• →Apply Trust and Safety policies consistently, documenting decisions and escalating complex or high-risk cases
• →Analyze account activity, domains, websites, and related signals to identify abusive behavior and emerging threats
• →Respond to internal and external abuse reports accurately and within established service levels 
• →Maintain clear case records, preserve relevant evidence, and prepare concise investigation summaries
• →Identify trends and recommend improvements to policies, workflows, detection methods, and enforcement processes
• →Support rotational coverage or occasional weekend and public-holiday work when required for urgent incidents

• 2+ years of experience in Trust and Safety, abuse operations, fraud prevention, risk operations, cybersecurity, or a related field 
• Experience investigating online abuse and handling sensitive or potentially disturbing content professionally and confidentially, using policies, evidence, and risk-based judgment to make sound decisions 
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple cases and priorities 
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, including comfort using translation tools to collaborate with an international team and review multilingual content 
• Experience using translation tools to review content in multiple languages and collaborate with international teams 

• Experience working for a domain registrar, web-hosting provider, cloud platform, CDN, or other internet infrastructure company 
• Knowledge of domains, DNS, WHOIS or RDAP, hosting services, IP addresses, email headers, and common abuse-reporting or takedown processes 
• Familiarity with ICANN requirements, threat-intelligence tools, open-source intelligence techniques, or automated abuse-detection systems
