Designer – Denim

Description

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Denim Designer to support the design and development of trend-driven denim and bottoms collections across private label and in-house brands. This role will be responsible for executing product from concept through production, partnering closely with Design, Product Development, Merchandising, and overseas teams to bring commercially successful product to market.

Requirements

• →3–5 years of apparel design experience, with a strong focus on denim and bottoms
• →Denim experience is required
• →Strong understanding of denim construction, washes, fits, fabrications, and garment finishing techniques
• →Experience creating sketches, CADs, technical flats, and tech packs
• →Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator; Photoshop preferred
• →Strong trend forecasting and market research skills
• →Excellent organizational and project management abilities
• →Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams
• →Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• →Experience working with private label accounts is a plus
• →Experience in the Junior market is preferred
• →Portfolio required

4 days a week in the office, Fridays at home

New York Pay Rate $60,000 - $85,000
