Do you enjoy working with kids and want a job where you can make a real difference? Gold’s Aquatics Camas is looking for dependable, energetic Swim Instructors to join our team.
Our instructors teach swimmers of all ages and abilities, from young children who are just getting comfortable in the water to more advanced swimmers working on stroke technique. You don’t need any teaching experience to apply. We provide training and support to help you become a confident, effective instructor.
What you’ll do:
- Teach safe, engaging swim lessons using the Gold’s Aquatics curriculum
- Help swimmers build skills, confidence, and independence in the water
- Give clear instruction, encouragement, and feedback
- Maintain active supervision and follow all pool safety standards
- Communicate with parents about their swimmer’s progress
- Help keep the lesson area organized and ready for classes
- Work as part of a supportive aquatics team
We’re looking for someone who:
- Enjoys working with children
- Is dependable and arrives ready to teach
- Communicates well with swimmers, parents, and coworkers
- Is comfortable in the water and has basic swimming skills
- Is willing to learn and receive feedback
- Can work afternoon/evening and/or weekend shifts
Previous swim instruction experience is helpful, but not required. Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid, or other aquatics certifications are a plus.
If you’re looking for a part-time job where you can build valuable teaching and leadership skills while helping kids become safer and more confident swimmers, we’d love to meet you.
