About the role
As a Data Quality Intern at GoMaterials, you’ll play a hands-on role in ensuring that our supplier inventory data is accurate, consistent, and well-organized in our internal systems. You’ll work closely with our team to standardize formats, identify and correct errors, and keep information aligned with company standards. Strong attention to detail and a passion for maintaining clean, organized data are essential for success in this role. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced, ever-changing and exciting startup environment, then this is the job for you! You'll gain practical experience and may have the opportunity to join our team full-time.
  • Review supplier inventory uploads (Excel/CSV) for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with GoMaterials’ standards (naming conventions, categories, formatting).
  • Support the standardization and update of supplier inventory data across internal systems.
  • Assist in identifying duplicates, missing values, or misclassified products and propose corrections.
  • Help ensure that product and plant details are correctly matched to categories, packaging types, and size terms.
  • Execute data imports and updates in HubSpot and our  internal databases.
  • Collaborate with the Supplier and Operations teams to keep data processes consistent and up to date.
  • Currently pursuing a degree in data science, business analytics, supply chain, operations management, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail with an interest in organizing and cleaning data.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (intermediate level).
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets, databases, and data entry.
  • Strong communication skills in English (French is a plus).
  • Self-motivated, accountable, and able to work independently.
  • Flexible and comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment.
