About the Role
~1 min readWe're looking for a People Operations & Talent Specialist to be the operational backbone of our People team. You'll support the day-to-day work that keeps our People function running smoothly, from our internship program and recruiting coordination to HR systems, government grants, and office operations, while partnering closely with the Manager, People Operations to continuously improve how we work.

Responsibilities
~1 min readTalent Acquisition & Internship Program
- →Own our internship program across three annual hiring cohorts, from university partnerships through onboarding and program management
- →Lead full-cycle recruitment for interns and junior Operations and Sales roles
- →Coordinate interviews, candidate communications, offers, and recruiting logistics across all open positions
- →Maintain hiring pipelines in our ATS (Lever) and keep hiring managers on track throughout the recruitment process
- →Deliver an exceptional candidate experience from application to offer
People Operations
- →Manage onboarding, offboarding, employment documentation, and employee lifecycle changes
- →Maintain accurate employee records and workflows in our HRIS (Rippling)
- →Build and improve HR documentation, processes, and automations using AI and other tools
- →Support day-to-day employee questions while ensuring confidentiality and attention to detail
Projects & Employee Experience
- →Own government grant applications from preparation through submission
- →Coordinate office operations, employee recognition initiatives, and team events
- →Partner with IT to ensure new hires have everything they need for a successful first day
- 2-4 years of experience in Human Resources, People Operations, or Talent Acquisition
- Experience working with an HRIS and Applicant Tracking System (Rippling and Lever are strong assets)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and a passion for building efficient, scalable processes
- Experience owning projects, programs, or operational processes from start to finish
- Comfortable using AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude to improve productivity and streamline your work
- A proactive, ownership-oriented mindset—you identify opportunities, solve problems, and follow through
- The ability to handle confidential information with sound judgment and discretion
- Bilingual in English and French
- Degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
Nice to Have

- Experience supporting a multi-country workforce or a mix of employees and contractors
- Working knowledge of Quebec employment standards
- Experience working in a startup or other high-growth environment
- CPHR designation
