Events Manager
Quick Summary
goals, audience, format, success metric
Good Inside is redefining parenting - not as something that should “just come naturally,” but as a skill to learn and practice. Founded by Dr. Becky Kennedy and Dr. Erica Belsky, we combine sturdy leadership with innovative technology to give parents personalized guidance, AI-powered support, and a global community.
Our mission: help parents raise resilient, confident kids in a changing world. We’ve already reached millions, and we’re just getting started. We’re refining our product and expanding our reach to empower even more families.
We’re looking for bold, high-ownership problem-solvers who want to build something new, tackle big challenges, and be at the forefront of change.
We're looking for an Events Manager to serve as the central owner of Good Inside's live event programming. This role is responsible for the full lifecycle of every event we produce — from concept through execution — including member-facing workshops, Q&As, and community activations that reach millions of parents worldwide.
This is a high-ownership role with direct impact on membership growth and retention. Events are one of the most powerful ways we deepen belonging for our members and bring new families into the Good Inside community. In this role, you are the connective tissue across every team that touches an event: Content, Marketing, Community, Partnerships, and external talent. You set the calendar, drive the briefs, manage the timelines, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks. You'll be the person every stakeholder looks to when an event is in motion.
- Build and own the operational infrastructure for Good Inside's live events — the calendar, the processes, the workbacks, and the cross-team coordination that makes every event run.
- Partner with the editorial team to develop concepts then own the entire process from brief to execution.
- Identify and propose new event formats that serve our members and expand our reach.
- Build the strategic brief for each event: goals, audience, format, success metrics.
- Own the project management infrastructure for each event, including creating and maintaining Notion tickets, coordinating design briefs, driving workbacks, and leading regular status check-ins to ensure all stakeholders are aligned on progress, blockers, and next steps.
- Serve as the single point of accountability for every event: you know where everything stands, what's at risk, and what needs to move.
- Lead run-of-show development and day-of execution, ensuring talent, crew, and internal teams are aligned and prepared.
- Own post-event wrap-up: recap, asset collection, and learnings documentation.
- Partner with Content to align events to editorial programming and seasonal moments.
- Collaborate with Marketing on promotion, registration, and post-event conversion strategy.
- Work with Community and Good Inside experts and creative leads to design events that deepen member connection and engagement.
- Create and execute a clear system for cross-channel alignment across all internal teams to ensure nothing is siloed — events at Good Inside are a company-wide effort with one owner.
- Track event KPIs: registration, attendance, engagement, and downstream membership impact.
- Share insights after each event and apply learnings.
- Build toward a repeatable, scalable events infrastructure — not just one-off moments.
- 4+ years in events, content programming, or a related field — spanning live virtual formats.
- Exceptional project management skills: you run a clean workback, communicate proactively, and close loops.
- Proven ability to manage logistics and strategy simultaneously without losing the thread on either.
- Clear communicator who can coordinate across multiple internal teams and external stakeholders at once.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and fast-moving priorities — you make decisions and document them.
- Passion for Good Inside's mission and genuine understanding of the community we serve.
