About the Role The Area Manager will play a pivotal role in leading a portfolio of early learning services to deliver exceptional outcomes for children, families and communities. Reporting to the Executive Manager of Early Learning, you will provide strategic leadership, coach and develop service leaders, drive quality improvement and support both financial and operational performance. At the heart of this role is ensuring services maintain the highest standards of child safety, compliance and educational excellence. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver on organisational strategy while making a meaningful impact across diverse communities. There are two full time permanent roles available. Travel will be required across your portfolio of services (LGA locations below): Area Manager Role 1 - City of Greater Geelong, Maribyrnong City Council, Wyndham City Council Area Manager Role 2 - City of Melbourne, City of Yarra, Hume City Council About You You are an experienced leader in the early childhood sector with a strong track record in managing multiple services or complex operational portfolios. You bring expertise in people leadership, quality improvement, workforce planning and stakeholder engagement, together with a deep understanding of the National Quality Framework and Child Safe Standards. A collaborative and strategic thinker, you build strong relationships, lead change with confidence and use data and insight to drive continuous improvement.
