Management Accountant

As Management Accountant you shall work with colleagues across the business to create value for the Company and its global client portfolio.

Responsibilities

• The timely and accurate preparation of monthly management accounts for the Company and related client entities, including preparation of:
  • Profit & Loss with analytical review
  • Balance Sheet with full supporting schedules
  • Cash flow Statement
  • Funding request
  • Ad hoc report
  • 
    
• Partnering with project and operations teams to ensure effective and efficient financial management of the business, building insightful financial reporting
• Monitoring overall cash position on a regular basis to ensure business needs are met
• Preparing and reviewing cash flow projections / forecasts.
• Assisting the Financial Controller with the design and implementation of improved financial processes and controls.
• Management of the outsourced finance function
• Acting as liaison with auditors, providing financial data and information as required.
• Undertaking research on VAT / tax related issues as needed.
• Assisting the Financial Controller with the design and implementation of improved financial processes and controls.
• Providing accurate, timely and reliable financial information to assist management and decision-making.
• Preparing and reviewing quarterly VAT returns and other compliance-based reports
• Assisting with the preparation and submission of regulatory and statutory returns for each company.

Requirements

·        ACA/ACCA qualified

·        Proven experience in a similar role

·        Advanced knowledge of MS Excel

·        Experience with NetSuite, Oracle, SAP or similar ERP

·        Confidence to challenge the status quo and put forward ideas for improvement

·        Strong technical understanding with a commercial awareness

·        Strong relationship building skills with an ability to influence and communicate effectively with stakeholders at every level of the business

·        Experience with multi-currency reporting
