Michigan Reconnect Completion Navigator

The Michigan Reconnect Completion Navigator will guide MI Reconnect students through the development and progress of a post-secondary educational credential or degree completion plan. The Completion Navigator will assist students with the navigation successful academic year. Working in collaboration with professional campus staff, the Completion Navigator coordinates individual student meetings, facilitates small-group learning and support sessions, and conducts ongoing outreach through multiple communication channels. The position provides timely reminders and guidance regarding critical enrollment and academic milestones, including course registration deadlines, FAFSA completion, and other activities that support continued enrollment and academic progress. The position will provide guidance related to educational and career pathways, and helps adult learners identify and overcome barriers that may impact their ability to persist toward credential or degree completion. The position will work closely with Michigan Reconnect Enrollment Specialists and reports to the Assistant Director of Adult Recruitment and Community Outreach.
