Job Title: Learner Services Officer
Reporting to: Academic Administration Manager - Examination
Location: Griffith College Dublin
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Job Responsibilities:
Examinations
- Preparing exam timetables & booking exam venues
- Contacting faculties & lecturers re: submission of exam papers.
- Formatting & proofing of exam papers (grammar, spelling, instructions)
- Employing invigilators in accordance with College policy
- Scheduling exam boards
- Carrying out checking procedure to ensure number of results match number of attendance
- Preparing exam broadsheets & conferment lists
- Taking minutes at exam boards
- Updating student results post exam board
- Releasing approved exam results to learners
- Managing change of result forms – post review & exam boards
- Submitting results to validating bodies
- Creating reports – statistical analysis
Registration
- Assisting with the registration rollover post examinations boards
- Assisting with the processing of Learner Record Amendment Forms
- Dealing with queries from learners
Graduation
- Agreeing graduation dates & schedules
- Contacting graduands & staff
- Liasing with robing & photography companies
- Managing graduand & guest attendance
- Managing content of graduation booklet
- Managing graduation ceremony
Student Records
- Posting of parchments
- Verification of awards
- Issuing of transcripts
- Updating social media accounts
