Supply Chain Analyst

Our Supply Chain and Logistics team mission is to provide top notch service to our stores and purchasing teams, contributing to the goal to make Grocery Outlet the first choice for bargain minded customers while touching lives for the better. Our team oversees the successful movement of products from our vendors to our stores and is self-motivated, passionate, and dedicated.

The Supply Chain Analyst will play a key role in supporting, maintaining, and expanding our suite of business intelligence reports and dashboards, helping operations and leadership teams make informed, data driven decisions across the end-to-end Grocery Outlet supply chain network. Beyond reporting, this role actively contributes to process improvement initiatives by connecting analytical findings to operational outcomes. The Supply Chain Analyst reports to the Sr. Manager, Supply Chain Engineering.

• →Develop, maintain, and continuously improve reports and dashboards that monitor key performance indicators across supply chain functions
• →Identify, gather, and clean data from multiple internal and external sources to support reporting and analytical needs
• →Perform data validation and quality checks on datasets as they are landed in our Databricks environment, supporting the team in ensuring data accuracy and reliability before it is used in reporting and analysis
• →Model and transform raw supply chain data into meaningful, actionable insights for operations and leadership stakeholders
• →Monitor supply chain KPIs and trends, proactively flagging anomalies and surfacing opportunities for improvement
• →Participate in process improvement projects by providing analytical support, including data gathering, root cause analysis, and measurement of improvement outcomes
• →Support the development of business cases for operational changes by quantifying inefficiencies and projecting the impact of proposed solutions
• →Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into scalable analytics solutions
• →Analyze supply chain processes to identify inefficiencies and support data driven continuous improvement initiatives
• →Support ad hoc analytical requests across the team as operational needs evolve

• Base Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000

• 2+ years of experience in supply chain analysis, business intelligence, or a closely related field
• Demonstrated ability to analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities
• Demonstrated ability to connect analytical findings to operational process improvement initiatives
• Experience performing data validation and quality checks to ensure the reliability and consistency of reporting and analysis
• Comfortable contributing to cross-functional process improvement projects, translating data into clear, actionable recommendations for operations teams
• Experience with Power BI for data modeling, report development, and dashboard creation
• Basic to intermediate proficiency in SQL and/or Python for querying, filtering, and transforming data
• Exposure to cloud-based data platforms such as Databricks and Databricks Genie is a plus
• Familiarity with supply chain or logistics systems (WMS, TMS, or distribution and fulfillment platforms) beneficial but not required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
