Corporate office for a manufacturing company has an immediate opening for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in Stafford, Texas. This position is responsible for providing business support to the finance and manufacturing facility. Responsible for all daily financial activities of the site, including accounts receivable, customer billing, month end closing, applying all customer payments, support management staffs and serve as team member on various projects.

Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to):

  • Receive, process, and apply all customer payments with a high level of accuracy in a timely manner
  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies or account adjustments as needed
  • Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and irregularities
  • Generate and review AR Aging reports to ensure collections compliance
  • Generate monthly reports as needed by upper management
  • Address customer inquires and/or inside sales dept inquiries
  • Upload documentation into ERP system
  • Assist where needed with month-end closing processes
  • Answering telephones as they roll over and transfer to the appropriate person

Requirements

  • High school diploma. Associate's degree in Accounting a plus
  • 2-3 years experience with accounts receivable or general accounting
  • Proficient Microsoft Office knowledge and skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles
  • High degree of attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Strong analytic abilities

  • Monday - Friday, 8am -5pm
