The Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist manages the full AR lifecycle—from invoicing through collections—with a strong focus on medical billing and healthcare-related accounts. This role is critical to maintaining healthy cash flow through accurate billing, proactive follow-ups, and confident outbound collections calls.

This position requires comfort making phone calls to resolve overdue balances when email is ineffective. Medical AR or healthcare collections experience is strongly preferred.

  Generate and submit accurate invoices using QuickBooks Online, Interpreter Intelligence, and healthcare billing portals (e.g., Office Ally, IEHP).

  Proactively follow up on overdue invoices via email and outbound phone calls.

  Resolve billing disputes and coordinate with internal teams to correct and reissue invoices.

  Apply and reconcile customer payments; follow up on short pays and unapplied funds.

  Prepare weekly aging and collections reports.

  Identify and support improvements to billing and collections processes.

• 2–3 years of AR or collections experience.

• Strong phone communication skills and confidence in outbound collections calls.

• Proven ability to manage aging, resolve disputes, and drive payment.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online; Excel/reporting skills required.

• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently.
