GTO Wizard is the worldwide leader in training and education for serious poker players. We use AI to provide GTO solutions in seconds with comprehensive coverage of poker situations. Our team of under 100 people works fully remotely on a Central European Timezone schedule.
About the Role
~1 min readThe Product Design Lead is the steward of our design system, mentor to our other designers, and our most powerful mind to tackle our biggest design challenges.
This role reports to the Chief Product Officer. Is is an individual contributor role without direct reports.
Establish our company’s approach to product design.
Foster professional growth of our other designers.
Ensure our MUI-based design system is wisely utilized, maintained, and updated.
Get hands-on to solve our most challenging design problems.
Speak directly with at least one customer per week to keep in touch with user needs.
Lead the evolution of design practices to incorporate AI, adjusting approach as tool capabilities broaden and quality improves.
Contribute to an environment of rapid iteration: ship quickly and learn instead of analysis paralysis.
Leads through authenticity.
Elevates the quality and consistency of our designs.
Develops a deep understanding customer needs and use cases.
Sees AI tools as an opportunity to scale impact rather than a threat to be managed.
Takes initiative to improve quality and efficiency team-wide.
At least 7 years experience in product design, shipping new products and features.
Expert level knowledge of design systems and principles.
An understanding of poker at least to the level of a non-professional enthusiast
Clear, professional English language communication skills (written and spoken).
A proven history of delivery at pace.
Experience designing products with AI assistance.
