• Conduct general maintenance duties such as cleaning walkways, fixing fountains, and other duties • Perform grounds keeping and building maintenance duties • Advise clients on how to look after the landscape • Mow, edge, and fertilize lawns • Apply pesticides to remove harmful insects such as mosquito, wasps, and ticks • Remove weeds and dead plants as needed to preserve the health and natural beauty of the plants • Cut lawn using hand, power or riding mower and trim and edge around walks, flower beds, and walls • Plant flowers, trees, and shrubs • Supervise maintenance repairs to equipment, landscape structures, outdoor furniture, and walkways • Uphold the landscaping design and ensure plant growth • Shovel snow from walkways and sprinkle ice down to keep people from falling • Monitor and maintain plant health • Trim overgrown limbs, hedges and leaves to ensure an appealing look to the area • Coordinate with garden designers and landscape architects to ensure the garden meets the client’s expectations Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent qualification • Must be able to operate maintenance equipment including lawnmowers, leaf blowers and hedge trimmers • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a landscaping or grounds keeping role • Strong knowledge of pest management and basic lawn maintenance • High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills • Proven work experience as a Landscaper or similar role • Excellent creativity skills • Able to lift heavy objects • Ability to work under pressure Benefits Terms of employment • Full Time • Permanent position • Will work 35 to 40 hours per week • On Call, Flexible Hours, Morning Required years of experience: 2 years experience in landscaping or grounds keeping role Salary: $18.00 - $25.00 per Hour Do follow us on our social media platforms for more job updates We are a Canadian Immigration, Recruitment & Settlement company based in Canada with multiple branches across the globe.
