Inspection of roof structures to determine the best course of action. Provide the customer with an estimate of labor and materials required for roof repair or construction. Measure and cut the material to fit snugly around vents, gutters, chimneys and walls. Smooth out rough areas of the roof to prepare the surface for new shingles and waterproofing. We replace damaged or rotten parts of your roof. Install a vapor barrier and insulation to create a more waterproof seal. Safely install ladders, scaffolding and hoists as needed. Keep your manager informed of work progress and report any work-related issues. Safely transport all necessary equipment and materials to the construction site. Requirements High School Diploma or GED. Valid driver's license. State roofer license. Experience in roofing or construction in general. Working knowledge of different hedging systems. Have good knowledge of trading orders. Ability to lift heavy materials and tools. Ability to use powered hand tools. Excellent communication skills. Outstanding customer service skills.
