Responsibilities

→Assist with overhead and underground distribution system design.
→Support engineering analysis using Milsoft WindMil, LightTable, and related software.
→Assist with coordination studies, system modeling, and Arc Flash Hazard Analyses.
→Participate in field inspections, data collection, staking, and make-ready surveys.
→Prepare drawings, calculations, specifications, and engineering documentation.
→Learn and apply RUS, NESC, IEEE, ANSI, and NEC standards.
→Coordinate with project managers, senior engineers, utility clients, and design staff.
→Support construction observation and project closeout activities.
→Participate in technical training and work toward professional licensure.

ABET-accredited Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (required).
0–3 years of electrical distribution engineering experience.
Engineer Intern (EI) certification or ability to obtain preferred.
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Desire to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with WindMil or LightTable.
Knowledge of RUS, NESC, IEEE, ANSI, and NEC standards.
