🌎 BRIDGE THE GAP BETWEEN TECHNOLOGY AND IMPACT

You are the person who finds clarity where others see technical complexity. You understand that behind every successful conservation project or social impact initiative is a team that needs their tools to work perfectly. You take pride in being the one who ensures that no hardware glitch or software hurdle stands in the way of a global mission. You’re ready to step into a role where your technical troubleshooting, Salesforce curiosity, and proactive problem-solving don’t just fix "tickets" - they empower people to change the world.

✨ WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS

As our IT Systems Administrator, you are the backbone of our operational efficiency. By maintaining our infrastructure and optimizing our environment, you ensure that our staff across the globe have the hardware and software required to reach their maximum potential. You turn technical roadblocks into smooth pathways for growth.

🎯 WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Empower the Team: Provide high-level hardware and software support to staff, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Infrastructure Management: Repair and upgrade hardware, research cost-effective equipment solutions, and manage office connectivity (fibre) to 95% uptime.
  • Seamless Onboarding: Facilitate the IT Onboarding/Offboarding process so new joiners feel supported from day one.
  • Asset Stewardship: Maintain an accurate asset register and manage equipment insurance to protect our global resources.
  • Assisting with Salesforce (where needed)

🚀 WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

  • Experience: Solid background in 1st line IT Support and working with CRM ticketing systems and Google Workspace.
  • Problem Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to explain technical issues without relying on jargon.
  • Technical Foundation: An IT-related diploma (A+, MCSE, MCP) or equivalent experience.
  • Vendor Savvy: Experience working with 3rd party vendors to facilitate repairs and procurement.
  • Mobility: A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle to attend to hardware needs in person when required.

Bonus if you also have:

  • A deep interest in learning a wide range of software applications and prior experience with Salesforce.

🎉 WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU

  • Monthly salary of R19,000
  • Generous leave policy
  • Opportunities for growth within a global organisation
  • Flexible, collaborative, and fun culture
  • Regular connection with our leadership team and the CEO
  • Access to in-house wellbeing support
