We are hiring a Legal Operations Senior Manager to our Legal team in Brazil!
The Legal Operations Senior Manager strategically leads the global Legal Operations function, directing high-value operational legal projects and setting the roadmap for the automation and management of contracts, litigation management systems, and the legal team’s knowledge management practices. This role ensures the seamless and continuous functioning of all operational processes and maintains up-to-date legal knowledge bases. A critical responsibility is defining and driving the Legal team’s AI strategy, with the ability to evaluate, pilot, and implement AI tools, and to clearly articulate how AI can drive measurable productivity, efficiency, and quality improvements for the legal department, both in the short and long-term. This role shall be responsible for effectively and strategically translates the Legal team’s needs into increasingly scalable operations. The role serves as a recognized, trusted advisor to Legal and Leadership teams, leveraging advanced competence in strategic project management, hands-on AI fluency and the ability to translate AI capabilities into concrete legal workflow improvements, executive communication, and cross-functional influence to ensure deep alignment with global business objectives.
- Define and lead the strategic direction for the Legal Operations team, acting as a functional leader for all global legal technology and process initiatives.
- Serve as a recognized, trusted advisor to Legal and Leadership teams, influencing decisions by presenting legal and corresponding business rationales.
- Independently lead complex, high-value, and cross-functional organizational projects with a global scope, balancing short-term business needs with long-term strategic implications.
- Set the AI and technology roadmap for the Legal department, identifying specific use cases, defining expected productivity and quality outcomes at each stage, and communicating a clear business case to stakeholders.
- Proactively anticipate regulatory shifts and technological evolution.
- Provide direct supervision to the Legal Ops team, offering strategic mentorship and support for their performance and development while ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Manage talent acquisition, hiring, and onboarding for new team members to ensure the team is staffed to full capacity.
- Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with Legal Leadership and cross-functional partners (e.g., Business, Finance, and Product Development) to drive key strategic initiatives.
- Oversee the management and optimization of the legal-related automation solutions, including the maintenance of all associated contractual templates.
- Evaluate and pilot AI tools and process improvements across the Global Legal department, building a prioritized use-case roadmap with defined, measurable productivity, efficiency, and quality outcomes at each stage.
- Manage and oversee all legal knowledge bases (e.g., intranet, CMS, LMS) to ensure they are current and accessible for the team and internal clients.

- A Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Law, Production Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
- Hands-on experience using and evaluating AI tools in a professional context (e.g., contract review automation, legal research, document drafting, workflow automation), with the ability to articulate how specific AI applications drive productivity, efficiency, and quality gains for a legal team across short-, medium-, and long-term horizons.
- Prior experience working with Salesforce as a CRM/ CLM is a plus;
- Good proficiency in Excel.
- A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in roles with comparable scope and responsibilities (e.g., Legal Operations, legaltech, consultancy, or comparable Operations functions) is required, including at least 2 years spent directly managing or leading a team;
- Hands-on evaluating, piloting, and implementing Legal Operations technology — including AI tools — with demonstrable examples of delivering or articulating productivity, efficiency, or quality improvements (e.g., AI Legal Technology, Contract Lifecycle Management, Litigation management system);
- Experience in Legal Operations and/or at a legaltech, consultancy company or comparable experience in other Operations areas (e.g., Sales Ops, Finance Ops, Marketing Ops);
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker or Power BI;
- Demonstrated, significant experience in large-scale, global project management and delivery.
- Fluent English is mandatory.
