Pay: HK$17,611 to HK$27,413 (HGPS Pt 2 to Pt 9) per month including Monthly Allowance
Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform Shroff counter duties and other clerical duties under supervision. The typical duties include:
1. Perform daily counter duties on revenue collection.
2. Assist to follow up outstanding debts with patients.
3. Assist to perform waiver and write-off processing.
4. Assist in handling patient refund.
5. Support revenue back office clerical duties.
6. Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Entry Requirements:
1. (a) Passes in 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination including English Language (Syllabus B), Chinese Language and Mathematics, or equivalent.
OR
(b) 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education attaining the level specified below:
- Level 2 in English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics; and
- Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects/ "Attained" in Applied Learning subjects/ Grade E in Other Language subjects;
or equivalent.
2. Ability to perform typing, word processing and/or Chinese word processing.
Preferable Attributes/Exposure:
1. Relevant experience in hospital Shroff, cash handling and customer services.
2. Knowledge & applications of HA revenue-related systems, such as PBRC, OPAS, FCS, SFMS, etc.
3. Good command of PC application, e.g. MS Excel, Word and Chinese Word Processing.
4. Responsible, self-motivated and able to work independently.
5. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
6. Good initiative and team player.
7. Fluency in spoken Cantonese and ability to speak English and Putonghua.

2. Serving staff who have completed F.5/S.5 or equivalent and have 2 years’ clerical experience within HA may also be considered.
