Resident Specialist (Accident & Emergency)

Department/ Hospital: Department of Accident & Emergency, Tseung Kwan O Hospital
Pay: HK$79,379 – HK$157,734(HGPS point 30-44B) per month including Monthly Allowance

Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide clinical and related services in the specialty.
2. Assist in supervising other Residents undergoing specialist training.
3. Assist in undertaking administrative work.
4. Undergo continuing medical education and professional development.

Entry Requirements:
1. Registered medical practitioner under the Medical Registration Ordinance; and
2. Fellow of the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine (Emergency Medicine) or equivalent; and
3. Registered in the Specialist Register in the relevant specialty of the Medical Council of Hong Kong.
