Position: Temporary Dietitian

Rank: Dietitian

Department/ Cluster: Department of Dietetics, New Territories East Cluster

Pay: HK$37,585 (HGPS Point 16) per month

Key Responsibilities:
1.    Assess and counsel patients with dietary or nutritional problems.
2.    Plan, implement and follow-up dietetic therapies as well as evaluate outcome.
3.    Monitor the standard for quality, sanitation, safety and security in food services for inpatients.
4.    Provide consultative dietetic services to the health care team.
5.    Participate in nutrition or dietetic-related projects and research.
6.    Give lectures on nutrition or dietetic-related topics to other health care professionals, patient groups and the community.
7.    Provide training to students from academic institutions.

Entry Requirements:
A Master’s degree or a post-graduate diploma in a recognised dietetic programme conducted in a local university, or equivalent.
