Hard Rock Digital is a team focused on becoming the best online sportsbook, casino, and social casino company in the world. We’re building a team that resonates passion for learning, operating, and building new products and technologies for millions of consumers. We care about each customer interaction, experience, behavior, and insight and strive to ensure we’re always acting authentically.

Rooted in the kindred spirits of Hard Rock and the Seminole Tribe of Florida, the new Hard Rock Digital taps a brand known the world over as the leader in gaming, entertainment, and hospitality. We’re taking that foundation of success and bringing it to the digital space — ready to join us?

We are looking for a Technology Project Manager who likes high-accountability environments. This is not a box-ticking, follow-the-process job. It is about driving outcomes, building predictability, clearing the path for others, and making sure our cloud and DevOps initiatives land on time and at quality. You will work across engineering, infrastructure, security, product, compliance, and operations to bring clarity, momentum, and delivery discipline without unnecessary bureaucracy.

Sitting within the Technology Project Management function of our group-wide PMO, you will assist with leading a portfolio of cloud infrastructure and operations projects: cloud migrations, platform and reliability work, third-party integrations, tooling and automation rollouts, and cost optimization programs. You will also manage the Technology Intake backlog.

Your success will be measured by your ability to make us more predictable, remove friction, and keep complex technical initiatives moving forward. You are the person who sees the risk coming, fixes the issue before it becomes a blocker, and creates the space for engineers to do their best work.

Responsibilities

~1 min read
  • Predictable Technology Intake and Cloud & DevOps roadmaps, with clear visibility of progress, risks, mitigations, and trade-offs so leadership can make confident decisions.

  • Comprehensive project plans covering timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and dependencies across infrastructure and operations workstreams.

  • Momentum across teams, ensuring cross-functional workstreams and external vendor groups stay aligned, connected, and unblocked.

  • Smooth delivery, where issues are raised early, solutions are proposed quickly, and technical complexity is simplified for the organization.

  • Cloud solutions that meet business objectives and align with security, scalability, and cost-efficiency best practices.

  • Operational efficiency, through the smart use of AI and automation to streamline reporting, tracking, and communication.

  • Improved ways of working, bringing lightweight structure, repeatable habits, and continuous improvement to cloud infrastructure and operations processes.

  • Stakeholder confidence, through transparent updates, clear performance metrics, and the ability to translate technical detail into what matters most.

  • You have a “get it done” mindset, always pushing for clarity and forward progress.

  • You are not here to run a task list; you are here to own the path to delivery and ensure teams can execute without friction.

  • You work well in ambiguity and bring order without becoming bureaucratic, which is essential when navigating evolving cloud architectures and regulatory requirements.

  • You operate with high accountability and low ego.

  • You are curious about new tools and technologies, especially AI and automation, and you use them to eliminate noise, reduce admin, and free teams up for high-value work.

  • You are proactive in surfacing risks, options, and recommendations, and you bring solutions, not just problems.

  • You know how to read a room, manage senior stakeholders, and influence without authority.

  • You communicate clearly in writing and in person, and you know how to keep the right people informed in the right way.

  • You thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving workplace, adapting quickly, embracing change, and making bold decisions when needed.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, with a proven track record delivering complex IT infrastructure initiatives in fast-moving environments.

  • In-depth knowledge of cloud computing concepts (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and best practices, with proficiency in AWS, Azure, or GCP.

  • Strong foundations in project and program management (RAID management, dependency mapping, stakeholder management, planning, and scope control) across Agile, Waterfall, or Kanban methodologies.

  • Experience leading and managing cross-functional technical teams.

  • Experience with project management tooling (e.g., Jira, Monday.com) and, ideally, platform engineering practices and tools (e.g., Backstage/similar, Terraform/IAC, etc.).

  • Experience and interest in applying AI-driven tools to modern project management, from workflow automation to smarter insights and reporting.

  • Proven problem-solving skills, ideally with exposure to techniques such as Lean, Six Sigma, or operational improvement frameworks.

  • Highly valued but not required: experience in sports betting and/or iGaming regulated industries, with exposure to international or multi-market operations.

  • Leaders describe the Technology Intake and Cloud & DevOps roadmaps as predictable and well run.

  • Teams feel supported and unblocked, not managed or policed.

  • Risks are addressed early, not discovered at the eleventh hour.

  • You are seen as the person who makes things easier, clearer, and faster.

We offer our employees more than just competitive compensation. Our team benefits include:

  • Competitive pay and benefits.

  • Flexible vacation allowance.

  • A hybrid / remote working environment.

  • Startup culture backed by a secure, global brand.

We care deeply about every interaction our customers have with us, and trust and empower our staff to own and drive their experience. Our vision for our business and customers is built on fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment where regardless of background or beliefs you feel able to be authentic and bring all your talent into play. We want to celebrate you being you (we are an equal opportunity employer).
