Responsibilities

Developing and improving AI/ML models to enhance detection of suspicious activities and reduce false positives.

Researching and implementing state-of-the-art techniques in data science, machine learning, and AI to fight financial crime.

Improving process efficiency, automation, and reproducibility across the Data Science team.

Building prototypes and proof-of-concepts to test novel AI-driven approaches and illustrate prospective capabilities to customers.

Analyzing complex financial datasets, identifying patterns, and presenting insights to the leadership team.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Product, Solutions) to integrate models into customer and partner systems.

Documenting methodologies, experiments, and findings to support transparency and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a BSc, BEng or MSc in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related field.

Ideally, you have prior experience (internships, projects, or work) in AI/ML, Data Science, Banking/Financial Services, FinTech, or Consulting.

Strong knowledge of Python and libraries such as pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow.

Enthusiastic about AI applications in FinTech, passionate about solving critical problems, and curious with a continuous improvement mindset.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in data wrangling, feature engineering, and model evaluation.

Fluent/native business-level English.

A self-starter who is equally comfortable working independently or collaboratively.

Available at least 10 hours per week, full-time possible.
