Right at Home, In-Home Care & Assistance, is seeking to hire an In-Home Caregivers to join a dynamic care team. We have immediate part-time and full-time positions available. You can make a difference in your career by helping people stay in the comfort of their homes. Candidates should be committed, good demeanor, and longevity. You can do both evenings and weekends or just evening and just weekends. We pay $17 an hour depending on experience. Also, we have a company 401k match!

Responsibilities and Duties for Caregivers:
Performs personal care and caregiving activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to):
- Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using a bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, shaving, skin, and hair)
- Ambulation/Transfers
- Valid drivers license and a reliable car is a must!
- Eating
- Dressing/Shaving
- Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
- Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments.
- Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroom
Performs patient-specific caregiver activities that are taught by Right at Home . These could include (but are not limited to):
- Medication reminders
- Assisting with the prescribed range of motion exercises
- Measuring and preparing special diets
- Understanding dementia care
- Incontinence care
Qualifications and Skills for Caregivers:
- High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
- 1 to 3 years of experience as a Caregiver/Home Health Aide in healthcare (in homes or facilities).
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and insured automobile
Requirements
- PA criminal background and MVR checks performed on all candidates we offer jobs to.
-Valid PA driver's license
- Car insurance on the vehicle you drive
-2 step TB test (or blood) within the past year
-Serving heart and a good attitude!
