Your Role

Depending on each client’s care plan, you will:

Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, and hygiene.
Support safe mobility, transfers, and prescribed range-of-motion exercises.
Prepare meals and assist with eating as needed.
Help with light housekeeping and laundry.
Accompany clients to medical appointments and assist with errands, including shopping and prescription pickups, using approved transportation arrangements.
Provide companionship and meaningful engagement.
Offer respite support for family caregivers.
Follow personalized care plans, document care provided, and promptly report changes or concerns.

What You Bring

At least one year of caregiving experience in a home care, assisted living, or long-term care setting.
Continuing Care Assistant (CCA) certification is an asset.
A valid driver’s licence and a reliable vehicle (required).
A clear criminal record check, including a vulnerable sector check.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
A compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to care.
Dependability and the ability to work independently while communicating effectively with the care team.
A commitment to client dignity, privacy, safety, and independence.

Employment Type

This is a casual position. Shifts and hours vary based on client needs and your availability; hours are not guaranteed.
