Right at Home Spokane, a family-owned and award-winning in-home care agency, is seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Caregiver to support a male client living with dementia. We are looking for a dedicated Caregiver who understands the unique challenges of memory care and has experience providing safe, patient-centered support to individuals with dementia.

Competitive Pay: $20-$24/hour, depending on experience and certification

Responsibilities

Provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance
Deliver compassionate dementia care while promoting client safety, independence, and comfort
Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders, and companionship
Engage the client in meaningful activities and provide emotional support
Monitor changes in condition and communicate concerns to the care team
Work primarily in the client's home with varying shift schedules

Requirements

Previous Caregiver experience supporting clients with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory-related conditions preferred
Male Caregiver preferred to meet the specific care needs and preferences of the client
Certified Health Care Aide (HCA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license preferred, but not required. We'll pay for your training.
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
Ability to pass a written competency evaluation, drug screen, and nationwide background check
Patient, dependable, and compassionate Caregiver with strong communication skills
Experience with redirection techniques, memory care support, and behavior management is a plus
