Job Summary

The Caregiver provides personal care, companionship, and homemaking services in accordance with each client's individualized plan of care. The goal is to help clients maintain their independence and remain safely and comfortably in their own homes.

Responsibilities:

Personal Care

Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
Provide bed baths and assist with changing briefs and other personal care needs.
Offer companionship and emotional support.

Transfers and Mobility

Assist clients with transfers from bed to chair and other mobility needs.
Safely operate mechanical Hoyer lifts, when needed.
Provide standby assistance and hands-on support with transfers.

Companionship and Household Support

Provide companionship and respite care for family members.
Assist with light housekeeping, including vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, and mopping.
Perform household tasks such as washing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning bathrooms.
Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment.
