We are seeking a compassionate Caregivers to provide non-medical in-home support to our clients. You will assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), light housekeeping, meal preparation, and companionship, helping clients maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their homes.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences
- Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, dishes, and tidying living spaces
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics
- Remind clients to take medications as prescribed (non-medical administration)
- Escort clients to appointments and run essential errands
- Monitor and report changes in client condition to the care coordinator
- Document care activities and observations accurately and promptly
- Follow the individualized care plan for each client
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in caregiving, home care, or related field preferred
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Valid driver license and reliable transportation
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- Effective communication skills in English
- Smartphone with data plan for scheduling and documentation app
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with dementia or Alzheimer care
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification, Certified Home Health Aide certification
- Experience with electronic health records or care documentation apps
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to assist with client transfers and mobility
- Manual dexterity for personal care tasks
Schedule:
Flexible scheduling available. Full-time and part-time positions with shifts ranging from 4-12 hours.
