  • Professional registration (Nursing/NMC) in good standing
  • V300 Non Medical prescribing qualification
  • Specialist knowledge of ADHD assessment and treatment across the lifespan, including stimulant and non stimulant medication, initiation and titration, physical health monitoring and shared care arrangements for both children and adults
  • Extensive knowledge of neurodivergence and lifespan mental health, including commonly co-occuring presentations and how they shape prescribing decisions
  • Experience of holding end-to-end accountability for a clinical pathway — from referral through initiation and titration to ongoing review, shared care or discharge
  • Experience of leading and supervising a team of prescribers, with the confidence to supervise, develop and quality-assure the work of a group of 5–10 clinicians, and a relevant supervisory qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
  • Experience of acting as the senior point of escalation for complex, high-risk or diagnostically uncertain cases, and comfort making the final clinical call
  • Solid understanding of the legislation and regulation governing prescribing services, including controlled drugs and remote prescribing, and a working knowledge of the expectations of the CQC, NMC, GPhC and other relevant regulatory bodies
  • Experience in service development, audit, clinical governance and quality assurance
  • Experience of working across both NHS and private pathways, and an understanding of how governance, reporting and contractual expectations differ between them
  • Credibility with senior external stakeholders — able to hold your own in meetings with commissioners, medical directors and chief pharmacists, and to represent the service's clinical position with evidence and authority
  • High level of communication skills and experience of acting as a clinical expert and representative when liaising with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to provide high level reports to senior management, commissioners and regulators
  • A genuinely independent worker — comfortable setting your own priorities, working autonomously in a remote organisation and making decisions without a peer group immediately around you

  • Flexibility to support our mission of bringing healthcare to anyone, anytime, anywhere
  • A commitment to ethical practice and adherence to the highest standards of safeguarding of adults/children
