Healthcare United is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a primary care opportunity in Largo, Florida. This is a full-time, outpatient-based position with a physician-founded, provider-focused medical group dedicated to delivering high-quality, cost-effective patient care. The incoming provider will join a supportive clinical environment designed to allow Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to focus on direct patient care, continuity of care, chronic disease management, and preventive medicine. The role is focused on managing a primarily adult patient population in a primary care setting. The provider will work as part of an integrated, multidisciplinary care team to evaluate patients, manage chronic conditions, support preventive health initiatives, and improve overall patient outcomes. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant seeking a stable outpatient schedule, strong clinical support, competitive compensation, and long-term growth within a team-based primary care model. Requirements Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Active Florida license or ability to obtain Florida licensure prior to employment Nurse Practitioner certification through AANP or ANCC, with focus in adult medicine, family medicine, acute care, or gerontology Physician Assistant certification through an accredited PA certification program, preferably with adult medicine focus Minimum of 2 years of Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience preferred Experience managing adult or geriatric patient populations strongly preferred Bilingual English and Spanish preferred DEA licensure or eligibility required CDS licensure required if applicable in the state of practice Current CPR certification required Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required Experience with EMR systems required eClinicalWorks experience preferred Experience with Medicare Advantage, HEDIS, MRA, and ICD-10 coding preferred Strong organizational, prioritization, and communication skills Ability to manage complex patient care situations in a fast-paced outpatient setting Benefits Competitive base salary of approximately $125,000 to $135,000, based on experience Annual quality and performance bonus opportunity up to 15% of base salary Full benefits package Malpractice insurance coverage Annual performance bonus based on quality of care Strong in-clinic support Central Business Office support to help providers focus on patient care Team-based clinical environment Stable outpatient primary care schedule
