We're building the future of healthcare by giving every clinician the earth's finest AI Care Partner. In just 18 months, our clinical AI products have absorbed the administrative chaos of 73 million patient visits. Today, we support over 2.5 million patient sessions a week across 190+ countries.

Healthcare systems are failing us; clinicians spend more time on documentation than on patients, and the human connection that makes medicine worth practicing is eroding. Our mission is simple: double the world’s healthcare capacity and strengthen the human connection at its heart.

We found product-market fit with a freemium medical scribe that clinicians love. Now, we're expanding. Every task a clinician hands to Heidi is a patient who feels more attended to, a health system unclogged, and a clinician who gets to be a clinician again.

If you don’t choose easy and you want to build something way bigger than yourself then, choose the challenge, choose Heidi.

As Senior Revenue Accountant, you'll own revenue recognition and reporting across Heidi's global entities. You'll be the technical authority on how revenue is recognized, reconciled, and reported as the business scales through a period of rapid, multi-entity growth.

You'll work closely with our Finance Controller and AR Ops Manager to keep revenue data clean from contract to close, reviewing customer contracts for correct treatment, owning the revenue-related balance sheet, and making sure our month-end close reflects what's actually happening in the business. We're building an AI-forward finance team and expect this role to actively use AI tooling to improve accuracy and speed across revenue accounting.

This is a role for someone who knows revenue recognition standards cold and wants to apply them somewhere growing fast enough that yesterday's process is already due for a rebuild.

Responsibilities

~1 min read
  • →

Own revenue recognition end to end, ensuring compliance with AASB 15 / ASC 606 across all revenue streams and entities.

  • →

Prepare and review month-end revenue journals, accruals, and deferred revenue schedules.

  • →

Review new and amended customer contracts to determine correct revenue treatment, including multi-element arrangements and variable consideration.

  • →

Own revenue-related balance sheet reconciliations, including deferred revenue, unbilled revenue, and contract assets and liabilities.

  • →

Partner with the AR team to ensure billing and collections data flows cleanly into the ledger and reporting.

  • →

Work cross-functionally with RevOps, Legal, Commerce, Product, Sales, and Customer Success to review new pricing models, deal structures, and contract terms up front, so revenue treatment is right from the moment a deal is signed rather than untangled after the fact.

  • →

Support the audit by preparing revenue schedules and working directly with external auditors on queries.

  • →

Identify and implement process improvements and automation across revenue accounting as Heidi scales.

  • →

Provide technical guidance to junior accounting team members on revenue matters.

  • →

Contribute to broader month-end close activities and ad hoc finance projects as needed.

  • CA or CPA qualified, or near completion.

  • 7+ years of experience in revenue accounting, technical accounting, or audit, ideally with exposure to SaaS or subscription revenue.

  • Strong working knowledge of AASB 15 / ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.

  • Experience operating in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment.

  • Comfortable working in an ERP environment with imperfect data. You know how to build controls around systems that are still maturing.

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong reconciliation skills.

  • Confident communicator, able to work directly with auditors and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, comfortable running a function in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

  • Confident pushing back on deal structures, processes, or shortcuts that create revenue risk, even when it's not the popular answer in the room.

You’ll join a team focused on real-world impact over imaginary valuations and glossy PR. We live and breathe the challenges of modern health systems, and are laser-focused on exacting the change we’d like to see. We’re medicos, engineers, builders, and designers who’ve felt the moral and practical toll of what non-care feels like. True A-players progress extremely fast here. The nature of the scale-up game is demanding, but we value sustainable performance and mental health. You're trusted to perform, and you set your schedule. We operate on outcomes > inputs, not process theatre. We all take the bins out, metaphorically and literally.

Building what we’re building isn’t always easy. But we didn’t choose easy, we chose to build something that actually matters. We hold ourselves to a higher standard because healthcare demands it. If you join Heidi, you recognise that the deeper question isn’t whether AI can solve the global healthcare crisis, but whose hands will shape it. The work is hard, but you will trust and admire the people you work beside, and rest easy knowing you’re doing the defining work of your career.

We take care of you.
We offer a ₱15,000 annual learning and development budget, a ₱3,000/month health and wellness allowance, a ₱10,000 home office budget, 26 weeks paid primary parental leave and 18 weeks paid secondary parental leave, fertility support up to ₱150,000, four weeks of work from anywhere per year, and comprehensive HMO coverage for you and up to two dependents.

We chose to open-source our benefits hub, if you care to take a peek.
