Temporary Part-Time Adult Companion

A lovely family in Milton is seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver to support their 86-year-old mother while her primary caregiver, her daughter, travels for work for 6 days in November 2026. There may also be an opportunity to repeat the care period approximately every 3 months, based on the family’s needs.

The caregiver will provide companionship and home aide support, with a focus on meal preparation and serving, monitoring blood pressure and blood sugar levels, helping ensure medications are taken as directed, and providing light assistance with mobility as needed. The mother uses a walker and cane.

Start Date: November 2, 2026

End Date: November 7, 2026

Length of Position: Temporary, 6 days, with the possibility of repeating the care period approximately every 3 months based on the family’s needs

Schedule: Part-time, 5 hours per day

Monday, November 2 through Saturday, November 7: 10:00 AM–3:00 PM

Compensation: $35 CAD per hour
